Powder production
Metal powders are essential for rapidly growing manufacturing technologies such as additive manufacturing and powder metallurgy. The development of customized powders drives innovation in high-tech industries but is hindered by limited availability, quality, and cost. We optimize sustainable metal and composite powders for various industries such as energy technology and aerospace. With modern manufacturing processes, simulation, and AI-supported optimization, we produce high-quality powders resource-efficiently.

Arc Inert Gas Atomization
The arc inert gas atomization is an innovative process for producing metal powders, where an electric arc is generated between two metal wires, melting the material and then atomizing it with an inert gas jet. The arc inert gas atomization combines high efficiency with the production of very round particles and is therefore ideal for the manufacture of metal powders with defined properties.
We offer not only material simulation but also the development of innovative nozzles that influence both process efficiency and particle size distribution. The powders are used not only in additive manufacturing but also in coatings. We enable the production of powders as a service – from small quantities starting at 500 g to large quantities of 50 kg.
Ultrasonic Atomization
The ultrasonic atomization technology enables nearly fully spherical particles with a narrow particle size distribution and high efficiency. Metal powders are produced by atomizing molten alloys on an ultrasonic vibrating sonotrode. A thin metal film vibrates until droplets detach at the wave peaks and solidify into spherical particles in the argon flow.
With the ultrasonic atomization system, we can develop and provide customized powders in small quantities. Through your expertise in the development and production of semi-finished products in the form of rods, we are opening new possibilities for the development and optimization of customized metallic powders for additive manufacturing.
