Team Leader (m/f/d) for the field of particle foams within the plastics division

Your qualifications

• Completed engineering or natural sciences master’s degree with a focus on materials science/ materials engineering/ polymer physics and chemistry/ plastics engineering or a degree as a graduate engineer (Dipl.-Ing.), even better with a completed doctorate
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in acquiring and managing R&D projects, ideally with particle foams or related materials
• Thorough understanding of the physical and chemical properties of particle foams, as well as experience in the application of various manufacturing and processing technologies
• Success in leading employees and projects
• Ability and enthusiasm for leading a team, particularly the ability to motivate employees
• Motivating personality focused on achieving company goals regarding costs, deadlines, and quality
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, as well as a high degree of reliability, resilience, and implementation strength
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English

Responsibilities

• Organizational and technical leadership of a team of experts for research and development of particle foams
• Strategic further development of the field of „particle foams“
• Development of innovative processes and technologies for the processing of particle foams to improve relevant parameters in collaboration with renowned partners from industry and academia
• Conducting comprehensive market analyses to identify trends and opportunities for the application of particle foams in various industries
• Acquisition and management of industrial as well as publicly funded projects
• Budgeting and budget responsibility
• Employee management and development
• Active development of cross-team and cross-departmental collaboration
• Expansion of existing structures and optimization of processes in a growing company
• Participation in international conferences and events to represent the company as a leading innovator in the field of particle foam technology
• Direct collaboration and reporting to the management
