You want to …
- apply for and conduct publicly funded research projects in the field of particle foams
- develop novel particle foams and innovative processing processes and actively contribute to forward-looking material and process innovations
- acquire, coordinate, and process development projects with industrial partners
- conduct and evaluate foaming and processing trials in the pilot plant
- prepare project applications as well as interim and final reports
- publish research results and present them at conferences and meetings
You have …
- a successfully completed engineering or natural sciences degree in the field of materials science, plastics engineering, chemistry, materials science, or a comparable field
- ideally first experiences in the field of particle foams, foaming processes, thermoplastics, or polymer-based lightweight systems
- first knowledge in materials analytics, polymer chemistry, or structural characterization of foams
- a passion for interdisciplinary questions and for transferring scientific methods into practice
- an analytical and structured way of working as well as the ambition to truly understand relationships
- motivation to work in a team while also having the ability to drive tasks independently
- first experiences in project management, especially in handling R&D projects
- very good communication and presentation skills
- very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
