Data Scientist (m/f/d)

You want to …

  • analyze complex data from research, development, and production to derive actionable insights
  • develop, implement, and continuously refine practical machine learning models and data-driven solutions
  • establish digital methods for process analysis, control, and optimization in materials research
  • structure and process large datasets, making them accessible for a variety of applications
  • support and actively drive research and development projects with a focus on data analytics
  • evaluate and apply new approaches in AI, statistics, and data analysis
  • collaborate across disciplines with scientists, engineers, and IT experts
  • present results clearly and effectively in presentations, reports, and publications
  • contribute actively to the digital advancement of our research infrastructure

 

You have …

  • a successfully completed degree in Data Science, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field
  • strong expertise in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis
  • experience with programming languages such as Python or R, as well as common data analysis libraries
  • experience in processing and analyzing large datasets and working with databases
  • ideally, professional experience in an industrial or scientific environment (e.g., materials science, production, R&D)
  • a solid understanding of data-driven models and their practical implementation
  • strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
  • enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and the transfer of research into practical application
  • excellent communication skills in both German and English
