Having the aim of providing material and process-supported solutions for resource-efficient lightweight construction, we look into
- cellular and reinforced polymeric materials,
- high-strength steels and lightweight alloys as well as
- fiber reinforced composites on the basis of thermoplastic matrix systems.
For that purpose, we develop novel material variants and processes or optimize established materials and manufacturing steps.
